About us

Pre-December 2007 the only connection I had with Anstruther was a well-travelled wee brass dog, which I had bought my girlfriend (now my wife) 25 years earlier in a long since gone shore shop.
It came back via Dundee, Girvan, Ayr and finally St Andrews.

An off the cuff remark made by a local tradesman during the construction of an extension to our house resulted in me opening the Rockies Restaurant at Anstruther Golf Club.
The Restaurant is named after the fifth hole, once deemed the hardest par 3 in Great Britain.
Whilst the Clubhouse Bar caters for members only The Rockies Restaurant welcomes all and serves delicious lunches, Traditional High Teas and Dinners all whilst you enjoy beautiful sea views. As our popularity grows it is advisable to book to avoid disappointment.
